YOGIC GUIDELINES FOR LIVING LIFE FULLY

Yoga has always been more than just physical practice. Through mindful movement, mindful discussion and meditative practices we will explore Yoga’s 5 guidelines for authentic connections to others and 5 guidelines for authentic relationship to ourselves. We will also explore how the 5 Mindfulness Trainings from the Buddhist tradition overlap with the Yogic Trainings.
When the components or limbs of yoga are practiced, impurities decrease (especially of the mind, i.e the mind is calmer and clearer); then the light of understanding can shine forth, illuminating the way to pure awareness, of seeing things as they are in each moment.
